Bluberi Games , a company at the forefront of gaming products and technology, is extending its reach into Canada, with Alberta being the first stop. This strategic move was achieved with the assistance of Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC).
As of April 4th, AGLC announced that all Alberta casinos will showcase Bluberi's array of gaming options, including standout titles like Devil’s Lock and Rocket Rumble. Their extensive US market experience is expected to ensure a smooth entry into Canada. These hit games are slated to appear throughout Alberta's casinos by spring.
“The demand for the latest and most exciting slot games is evident among Alberta's players, so incorporating Bluberi Gaming's top-notch offerings into the casino and racing entertainment landscape is truly invigorating,” offered Steve Lautischer, the Executive Vice President of Business Development at AGLC. “Their slot games not only promise enhanced entertainment for players but also uphold AGLC’s commitment to a socially responsible gaming environment.”
To maintain its dedication to promoting healthy gambling practices, AGLC will collaborate with Bluberi to ensure that GameSense tools and resources are incorporated during the deployment process. Features like budget controls and regular activity check-ins will be part of this initiative. Moreover, GameSense advisors are ever ready to assist players at Alberta's casinos, guiding them toward responsible gambling or addressing any queries they might have.
Though headquartered in Las Vegas, Bluberi has carved out its niche in Canada with multiple game development studios across North America, including locations in Quebec and New Brunswick. The Moncton, NB studio, aptly named Pixel Jam, was established in 2023 and is spearheaded by seasoned game designer Frank Leger, who carries over 17 years of industry expertise.
Bluberi prides itself on being a fusion of gambling and gaming, consistently striving to craft slots focused on player engagement by endorsing a 'quality over quantity' philosophy in game creation, as noted by Chief Product Officer Mike Brennan.
The gaming sector in Alberta is a significant contributor to the public coffers, as the revenue generated supports vital governmental programs and services. In 2023 alone, gaming activities earned a handsome $1.5 billion for the regional general revenue fund, as per AGLC statistics.
